NEW Diabetes Education Service Available ...   Diabetes Technologies is pleased to announce our new One - on - One Telephonic Diabetes Education Service (Tele-Ed Program) designed for individuals with any form of diabetes and/or their care provider.

Diabetes education in the United States in consider sub standard. Recently in an article in the Washington Post, a National pole indicated that physicians do not have time to teach or inform individuals with diabetes about the basic and advanced techniques necessary to prevent complications and administer quality daily care. 

Diabetes Technologies, Inc., acknowledging this fact has developed a new approach at providing basic and advanced diabetes education to anyone that has a telephone and is willing to commit to a multi facet telephonic education program.

The Tele-Ed Program includes over 25 important topics (modules) surrounding the proper care and education of anyone with any form of diabetes. The program includes one-on-one telephone interviews with a highly qualified and trained professional in diabetes.  Topics range from basis titles such as "What Is Diabetes" to advanced titles such as "Insulin Algorithms for Adjusting Insulin"

Educational sessions are by telephone appointment between the hours of 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday- Friday. The cost is $39.95 per half hour session.  To learn more about the program or to schedule and appointment, contact our CDE Department at 888.872.2443.

The program utilizes highly proven educational techniques and methods developed by the American Diabetes Association, American Association of Diabetes Educators, The CDC, The National Diabetes Education Program, the American Association of Endocrinology, and the American Medical Association.
